Simatic Ncm Pc Manager Download __FULL__

This will make our job a bit difficult. We are the software developers not automation engineers. We do not use Step 7 to program the PLC as we only need most time to read the data from the PLCs. Now the new version of the OPC server does not include the NCM manager and our customers are still using the old version Step 7 (v5.5). In order to configure the OPC nodes, do we or customers need to purchase or upgrade the Step 7 software as well?
